FOLLOW UP: #1.75 - IASAS Forensics and Debate Cultural Convention at ISB March 6-10, 2024

Dear All,

Please see a recap of our agreements regarding Debate: Section Three: Tournament Procedures from yesterday's meeting below (thanks, Tracy), and let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns. Happy Thanksgiving for those who celebrate!

• Schools will still submit motions HERE as per message #1.5.

• When ISB sends the motions back to be voted on, coaches will vote for 5 prepared and 5 impromptu motions.

• The prepared motion with the most votes will be debated in the final, the prepared motion with the second highest votes will be round 5 and the prepared motion with the third highest votes will be rounds 1 & 2.

• The impromptu motions will have the highest voted one as the semifinals and then rounds 3 and four will still be drawn.

• Prepared motions will be released to the schools in early Dec.

• Prepared rounds we will have 1/2 hour prep time at CC

• Impromptu rounds prep time remains the same.
